Inkwell Films is Founded

1921 - Inkwell Films is founded by Max and Dave Fleischer, who later form Fleischer Studios.

Alice's Wonderland Becomes Walt Disney's First Production

1923 - Walt Disney's "Alice's Wonderland," the black and white predecessor of "Alice in Wonderland," is shown not to the public, but to prospective film distributors to promote a deal for the series of cartoon shorts, "The Alice Comedies."
