About Me

From a really young age my caring, nursing instincts had been obvious ... they even prolonged to caring for our neighbor's cat. My mom was, to say the least, horrified to discover I had tossed my dolls out of their pram and put a bandaged cat within their location. I need to say the cat appreciated becoming wheeled around as he produced no effort to escape. He just lay there and went to rest! I loved it!

And sure I did grow to be a Registered Nurse, registered in Australia along with the Usa. I principally have been associated with Chronic Treatment ... from Pediatrics by way of to Oncology. I've also been involved in Chemical Dependency Counseling and Daily life Coaching.

The widespread thread has constantly been working with men and women because they deal with issues and/or continual illness.

Diabetes highlighted strongly by means of my career ... in Pediatrics, Sort 1 predominated. After which there were instances I found youthful grown ups who had also just been diagnosed with Sort 1. Until finally approximately 10 many years back, Kind one Diabetes held the quantity one place exactly where diabetes is worried, and then progressively Sort 2 took more than, and now appear how it predominates in continual health conditions!

In 2008 I was diagnosed as becoming pre-diabetic ... I'm 5'6 and 128lbs ... not the more widespread build for this problem. Therefore my truly individual involvement with Type two ... now my blood sugar levels are normal (phew!) and without having drugs!
