I'm Karl Kristiansen. I became born in Connecticut. I spent almost all of my childhood in Stonington, a small, seaside town around the Connecticut-Rhode Island border. Dad would have been a commercial fisherman and since he was from Norway, life on the sea would be a natural for him. My mother was a housewife. We had been the conventional '50's family. A lot of excitement with an eighteen yr old kid. We'd liberty calls in Hong Kong, Yokosuka, Subic Bay and Pearl Harbor. In June of 1966 I visited CT (Communication Tech) school in Pensacola, FLA. Upon graduation, I became shipped to Bremerhaven, Germany for two main years approximately. After being discharged My Photo 65-98from the Navy in 1969, I returned home and met the lady I'd wind up marrying in April of 1970. We now have two grown daughters and three grandchild
