It comes in white and black front face variants and is lighter and thinner that the first iPad, specifically 1.33 pounds or 601 grams and 0.34 inch or 8.8 millimeters, when compared to its predecessor, it is exactly 33 percent thinner and 15 percent lighter. Another upgrade is the addition of two cameras, yes, 2 independent cameras, one facing front and one to the back, these cameras were made to be used in the iPad’s video calling program called FaceTime and enables users to switch between the cameras to show their face or use the back facing cam to show their surroundings, the back facing cam is also ideal for taking pictures and recording HD home movies.

If you had problems with the processing speed of the first Apple iPad, you will definitely love this next upgrade. The 2nd generation iPad has a dual core A5 processing chip that can do twice the work at the exact same time, browsing through the internet, streaming videos, and downloading apps can be accomplished in half the time so you can spend your precious time doing more. And because I am a true blue gamer, this is by far my favorite improvement, the 2nd iPad has superb graphics that is up to 9 times the performance of the previous model, crisp video and fast gameplay is indeed a perfect recipe for a terrific gaming session.
