Bob Woodward (born March 26, 1943) is regarded as one particular of America’s preeminent investigative reporters and non-fiction authors. He has labored for The Washington Article since 1971 as a reporter, and is at present an affiliate editor of the Publish. While a younger reporter for The Washington Post in 1972, Woodward was teamed up with Carl Bernstein the two did a lot, but not all, of the unique news reporting on the Watergate scandal that led to several federal government investigations and the eventual resignation of President Richard Nixon. Gene Roberts, former managing editor of The New York Moments has referred to as the perform of Woodward and Bernstein “maybe the one finest reporting energy of all time.” [1]
Woodward has authored or coauthored sixteen non-fiction books in the final 36 years. All 16 have been national bestsellers and twelve of them have been #1 national non-fiction bestsellers - much more #one national non-fiction bestsellers than any contemporary writer.
