Walter Green is a Maitre d'Armes (Fencing Master) certified by the Academic d'Armes Internationale and holds Doctorates in Organization and Managment and Budo Training. He began fencing at Duke University in 1965, competed as an beginner fencer at the state and nationwide degree through the 1970s, and served as a national ranked referee and a regional Vice President of the Newbie Fencers League of America.
